Penarth
Fawr is a unique example of a stone-built hall house of the Welsh
gentry. Built around 1450, it is the only surviving hall house in
this part of Gwynedd and is well worth a visit. Admission is free and it
is open everyday from 9.30am to 6.30pm. Easter to October. A full-colour
guide book relating the history and an architectural description is
available from the adjacent pottery. |
