Beddgelert
is a delightful village nestling at the foot of the mountains close to
the junction of the Glaslyn and Colwyn Rivers. It is associated for
all time with the story of Prince Llewelyn and Gelert, his faithful
hound, whose grave gives the place its name. Beddgelert is a fine
centre for walks and drives and a popular starting point among
climbers for the ascent of Snowdon |
